  1. Prepare 250 g Spinach
  2. Get 2 chopped onion
  3. Prepare 150 g paneer
  4. Get 2-3 tsp Garlic
  5. Make ready 3-4 green chilli
  6. Get 1/4 cup curd
  7. Prepare 2 tsp Fresh cream
  8. Take as required Ghee or oil
  9. Prepare 1 tsp cumin seeds
  10. Make ready 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  11. Prepare 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  12. Get 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  13. Get 1/4 tsp black salt
  14. Get to taste Salt
  15. Take 1/2 tsp garam masala
Steps to make Punjabi style Palak paneer:
  1. To bowl of boiling water, add little salt and then spinach leaves to it. Blanch the spinach leaves for 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Take them out and put them in ice cold water. To a blender, add the blanched spinach and green chilli.
  3. Heat the oil in a pan. Once hot, add cumin seeds and chopped garlic.Saute for few minutes. Then add chopped onions and green chilli to it.
  4. Cook the onion for 2 to 3 minutes. Then add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, black salt, and salt to it. Mix and cook for 1-2 minute.
  5. Add 1/4th cup curd to it and cook for 1 minute. Then add the prepared spinach puree to it and cover the pan and let it cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Once the spinach is cooked, add garam masala and panner to it and cook for 1-2 mins. Switch off the flame, add fresh cream to it.
  7. Serve palak paneer with naan or roti.
