The ingredients needed to make Aloo Matar:
  1. Get 300 gram potato cut into halves
  2. Make ready 1/2 cup boiled green peas
  3. Prepare 2 onion fine sliced
  4. Prepare 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  5. Take 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  6. Get 2 green chilli
  7. Get 1/2 cup tomato paste
  8. Prepare 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  9. Get 1 teaspoon chaat masala poder
  10. Get To taste salt
  11. Prepare 1 teaspoon sugar
  12. Get As needed cooking oil
  13. Get 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
Instructions to make Aloo Matar:
  1. In a wok add cooking oil and add sliced onion and shallow fry it for 2 -3 min.
  2. Add garlic chopped and fry until it become soft and golden brown. Add potato and salt and mix properly and cook with lid on low heat.
  3. Check the potato soft or not. If soft add tomato and ginger paste and saute for a while. Add boiled green peas. Add turmeric powder,chaat masala powder, sugar and cook for 3 min. Bring it to boil by adding 1/2 cup of hot water.
  4. Garnish with coriander leaves and green chilli.
