Prepare 500 gms Chicken pieces cut to bite size
Take to taste Fish sauce
Get 250 ml water
Get 450 ml Dabur Homemade Coconut Milk (3 pkts)
Take 1 cup Fried onions(browned)
Make ready 2 bowl Potatoes
Make ready 10-12 Dry red chillies (Sukhi lal mirch)
Make ready 10 Cardamom pods peeled
Take 2 Star anise inaon (sticks)
Take 3 Lemongrass finely chopped/1 cup
Prepare 5 tbsp Coriander seeds
Get 1 tsp Cumin seeds
Take Cloves 5
Take pod Ginger (1 inch)
Prepare 6 Kaffir lime leaves

Wash the rice in a sieve and add enough water and one packet Dabur Hommade Coconut Milk to fully cover the rice - at least cover the surface of the rice
Add salt to taste.Add few pieces of galangal, lemon grass stocks, kaffir lime leaves
Set the rice up to boil. Cook till almost done
To determine if the rice is properly cooked or not, remove a few grains from the pot and press between your thumb and forefinger. The rice should mostly mash but will have a firm whitish core
Turn off the heat. Strain through a colander and keep the drained rice aside
Grind all the spices (Ingredients for the paste) to make a paste
Add two spoons Dabur Hommade Coconut Milk in a frying pan and add all the paste in it and cook for at least 10 minutes
Then add the chicken pieces and the potatoes in the pan along with the paste and cook for 45 minutes
Add the remaining Dabur Hommade Coconut Milk and simmer for 15 minutes
Add the fish sauce, tamarind juice, and cook until the oil separates, add the roasted peanuts
Then in another heavy bottomed pan add the chicken and half the barista in it and then cover the chicken with rice and add more barista on top and few pieces of lemon grass and kaffir lime leaves
Add a little Dabur Hommade Coconut Milk to keep the rice moist
Then cover the lid an open seal with atta and cook over high flame for a few minutes and then simmer it and cook for half an hour
