Prepare Tempering
Take 1 bay leaf
Make ready 1 tsp cumin seeds
Take 1 red chilli
Prepare 1 inch cinnamon

Instructions to make Dry fruits pulao khichdi:
Take rice and dal as per measurement.
Wash both atleast 2-3times. Then spread on a flat plate to soak rice dal for 15 mins.
Chopped dry fruits and saute with little ghee/oil.
Heat ghee/ oil in a cooker, add tempering and little after put rice dal along with dry fruits. Give a nice stir. Add turmeric,salt, rest of masalas and continuous stir. Whole process will be in low flame.
Rice and dal will be dry roasted with masala, add hot water and sugar. Give some stir. Now closed the lid and cook upto for 2 wishtle. Keep for resting time untill vapours out from cooker. Then open the lid.
Serve hot with salad,papad and chutneys.
