The ingredients needed to make Mum's Hot Dogs:
Get 6 Bread rolls
Take 1 Butter (or margarine)
Make ready 150 grams Cabbage
Make ready 6 Wiener sausage
Prepare 1 dash Curry powder
Make ready 1 dash Salt
Take 1 Ketchup
Instructions to make Mum's Hot Dogs:
Slice the roll vertically down the center, being careful not to cut all the way through. Thinly butter the bread inside. Lightly score the sausages, then boil them.
Cut the cabbage into strips. Pour some vegetable oil (not listed) into a frying pan and stir-fry the cabbage on a medium heat. If the heat is too strong the cabbage will burn so be careful. Once wilted, add the salt and curry powder, mix it in and give everything a quick stir fry. Then stop the heat.
Add some cabbage into the bread from Step 1, followed by the boiled wieners.
Cook in the toaster oven. The hot dogs burn easily so keep your eye on them.
Once the bread is a nice golden colour, stop the heat, pour some ketchup over it and you're done.
