  1. Get 1.5 cup flour
  2. Prepare 1/2 tsp baking soda
  3. Take 1 tsp baking powder

  1. Preheat the oven at 180 degrees.
  2. Seive together flour, baking soda and baking powder. Add lemon zest in it.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat vegetable oil and sugar. Then beat in curd, vanilla essence and lemon juice.
  4. Mix dry ingredients and wet ingredients maintaining the consistency with the buttermilk made. Use a spatula to do it.. Don't overmix
  5. Transfer the batter into a greased tin and bake it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 35 minutes 😊
  6. Demould when it cools. Dust icing sugar on it.
  7. Cut into slices and serve with glazed cherries and lemon zest
