  1. Prepare 250 gm Wheat flour
  2. Make ready 200 gm jaggery
  3. Get 100 gm gond(edible gum)
  4. Take 50 gm poppy seeds
  5. Take 1/2 cup almond and cashews
  6. Make ready 1/4 cup melon seeds
  7. Make ready 1/4 cup coconut powder
  8. Prepare 1 tbsp besan
  9. Take 1/4 tsp ginger powder
  10. Make ready 1/2 cup ghee
  11. Take 1/2 cup foxnut(makhana)
  12. Take 1/4 bowl raisins
  13. Get Pinch salt
  14. Make ready 1 tsp cardamon powder

I have a similar recipe which uses dates and edible gum. Gond Ladoo are high in calories because of all the nuts added so it should be eaten in moderate amount. You can serve this to kids to improve their stamina and also to the kids I always prepare dry fruits and nuts powder and mix with hot / cold milk. I have used the same powder to prepare this ladoo.

Instructions to make Dry fruit and gond ladoo:
  1. In a pan put 1 tbsp ghee and roast the edible gum till fluffy.
  2. Roast some cashewnut, almond.Roast foxnut, poppy seeds seprarely.
  3. Now roast melon seeds and Desiccated coconutpowder.
  4. Grind all of them separately.
  5. In the same pan add 2 tbsp ghee and add gram flour. Roast for 1-2 minutes then add wheat flour.. Roast for 6-7 minutes.
  6. Put ginger powder and cardamon powder. mix all ingredients in a big plate.
  7. Now in another pan melt jaggery with 1-2 tbsp of water add 2 tbsp ghee also.
  8. Make jaggery syrup and put it in the wheat flour mixture.
  9. Mix all the ingredients well. Then after 1-2 minutes bind the ladoos and enjoy in winters.

You can serve this to kids to improve their stamina and also to the kids I always prepare dry fruits and nuts powder and mix with hot / cold milk. I have used the same powder to prepare this ladoo. Gond ke Laddu or Dinkache Ladoo are generally made in all parts of India during winters. Gond is also called as Dink in Marathi and Gundar in Gujrati. While in home-made Ladoos, lots of dry fruits are added, in ready-made Ladoo you will find lot of dry coconut instead of dry fruits.
