  5. Cook on slow flame till dal becomes thick and pittha floats.Take tempering vessel, add 1tbsp ghee to it, add cumin seed little bit, as added before. When it’s done add chopped garlic, whole red chili. Add hing and put it in dal pittha. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
