Hey everyone, it is me again, Dan, welcome to our recipe page. Today, I will show you a way to make a distinctive dish, mexican rice. It is one of my favorites. This time, I’m gonna make it a little bit unique. This is gonna smell and look delicious.

Mexican Rice is one of the most popular of current trending foods in the world. It is appreciated by millions daily. It is easy, it is quick, it tastes yummy. They are nice and they look wonderful. Mexican Rice is something that I have loved my entire life.

To begin with this particular recipe, we must prepare a few components. You can have mexican rice using 15 ingredients and 9 steps. Here is how you cook it.

The ingredients needed to make Mexican Rice:
  1. Take 1 Onion chopped
  2. Get 1 tomato chopped
  3. Prepare 1 Capsicum chopped
  4. Prepare 2 tbsp Chopped Carrot
  5. Get 2 tbsp boil Corn
  6. Make ready 2 tbsp boil Peas
  7. Get 2 tbsp Ghee/oil
  8. Take 1 cup Basmati Rice(soaked in water)
  9. Make ready 2 cup Water
  10. Take to taste Salt
  11. Get to taste Black pepper
  12. Take 1/4 tsp Garam masala
  13. Prepare 1/4 tsp kashmiri Laal mirch powder
  14. Take Coriander leaves for garnishing
  15. Prepare 2 tsp green chilly sauce
Steps to make Mexican Rice:
  1. Take a large pot/ pan in which has ample space for making mexican rice. Put 2 tbsp of ghee/oil in it.
  2. Remove water from basmati rice and put it in ghee
  3. Roast it for 1 min by continuously stiring it on low flame.
  4. Now put all veggies, that is, onion, capsicum, tomato, peas, corn,carrot in it and stir it.
  5. Put salt, black pepper, garam masala, kashmiri laal mirch powder in it and mix well. And cook it for another 1 minute.
  6. Now add water to it and cover the pot/pan with lid or any plate and cook over medium flame.
  7. Note: do not over cook rice. Once the rice is cooked and water is all soaked remove the lid and lower the flame.
  8. Now put some green chilly sauce in it. Mix well with light hand so that rice do not breaks.Turn off the flame.
  9. Tadhaaaa your mexican rice is ready to be served. Garnish it with coriander leaves while serving.
