Instructions to make Potato masala:
  1. Peel, wash and boil the potatoes.
  2. Remove the potatoes from the water and keep the water aside.
  3. Mash the potatoes slightly into small pieces and keep them aside.
  4. Now slice onions, tomatoes and slit green chillies.
  5. In a pan pour oil put mustard seeds, urad dall and chana dall, cinnamon, fennel seeds and clove
  6. Then put onions, green chillies and curry leaves
  7. Fry the onions nicely.
  8. Then add ginger garlic paste, tomatoes, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and fry nicely
  9. Then add mint leaves, potatoes and water
  10. Cover it and cook for five minutes
  11. Then take quater cup of water and mix with gram flour with out lumps
  12. Add gram flour water to the potatoes. Mix well and boil it for a minute
  13. Turn off the flame and garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves
  14. Potato masala is ready to enjoy with poori
