In small tempering pan heat oil,do tempering of urad dal,as it turn reddish,add mustard and cummin seeds..as they splutter add it to above prepared mixture.
  3. Mix together..to prepare filling mixture.
  4. Make 12-14 equal portions,roll into cylinderical shapes.
  5. In mixing bowl add besan,salt, red chilli powder,add little water to make pakoras like batter..beat the batter for few minutes.At the time of frying add 1/4 tsp soda bi carb..mix well.
  6. Heat oil in frying pan. Dip one by one prepared cylindrical shape balls in besan batter, and drop them in hot oil.
  7. Deep fry in hot oil on medium flame till golden brown in colour. Serve Hot KAND vadas with green coriander- pudina / mint chutney and tomato sauce.
