The ingredients needed to make Misal:
Prepare 1 bowl fresh sprouted Matki
Get 1 onion whole
Get 1 onion chopped
Take 1 tomato
Take 4-5 green chilli
Take 4-5 curry leaves
Make ready 1 tbsp ginger paste
Make ready 1 tbsp garlic paste
Make ready 1 tsp jeera
Make ready 1 tbsp red chilli powder
Take 1 tbsp garam masala or kitchen king masala
Take 1 tsp Turmeric
Get Pinch Hing
Make ready Mix Farsan/ bhavnagri sev
Get Tikhi sev
Get Dahi optional
Make ready Coriander
Take Oil
Instructions to make Misal:
On tawa, dry roast onion ginger garlic, coriander, green chilli and half cutted tomato and make its fine paste.
On curry pan add oil, and add jeera in it. Later add hing curry leaves and onion tomato paste. And mix it and cook it till it turn brown.
Add red chilli powder, kitchen king masala, and turmeric. Also add sprouted matki and mix it. Add around 1 tsp of besan and salt give it a nice stir.
Add hot water to make gravy.. And let it get cook for 10 mins on slow flame. Add khobra or crushed peanuts if you like.
To serve misal, pour gravy in a bowl. Add raw onion tomato and sev on top of it. Garnish it with lemon wedge and coriander. Serve it with dahi amd pav.
